STICKLEY WINS ADVANCE AUTO PARTS 100

May 8th, 2010 -- The CASCOR Modified Tour made its way back to the Bowman Gray Stadium this week for the Advance Auto Parts 100.
Will Goshen and Andrew Hayes would pace the field to the green flag for the second race of the season at Bowman Gray Stadium. Frankie Stickley ended up getting turned around in turn one on lap 1, bringing the first caution out of the night.
Ten more cautions slowed the event as the final restart would come with 10 laps to go. Frankie Stickley led Andrew Hayes, Brent Sweet, Will Goshen and Dave Collard back to green. Stickley would hold on to win with the caution flying with 1 lap to go for contact between Dave Collard and Will Goshen, triggering a 4 car incident.
Stickley wins, Andrew Hayes finishes 2nd, Brent Sweet 3rd, Tyler Tucker 4th and Dave Collard came back to round out the top 5.
