HUSBY MAKES IT TWO IN A ROW AT MOSPORT |
 |
|
July 12th, 2011 --
The CASCOR Canadian Tire Series went road racing this week at the Mosport International Raceway for the Vortex Brake Pads 125.
Will Goshen would take the top spot in qualifying for the first time in his career and started alongside Julian Madore.
Goshen would lead the first four laps before spinning out in turn 3 handing the lead over to Julian Madore.
On the next lap Will Goshen would get into the turn one tire barriers dropping him back to 5th. That same lap Julian Madore who had just taken the lead got loose in turn 4 and pounded the tire barriers, ending his night early.
Thomas Mohl Jr. would take over the lead but would have problems of his own in turn 3 taking him out of the race and bringing out the caution for the first and only time of the night.
Will Goshen would lead Mike Husby and Josh Boyer back to the green flag on lap 8. Goshen would lead the next two laps before Mike Husby took over the lead on lap 12. Husby would have a moment of his own in turn two on lap 15 just about ending his night. Josh Boyer would take over the lead on the next lap before Husby took the lead back in turn 1.
Husby went on to lead the rest of the way taking his 2nd win of the season and first on a road course. Will Goshen finishes 2nd, Josh Boyer 3rd, Thomas Mohl Jr. 4th and Julian Madore rounded out the top 5.

HUSBY GETS WIN #2 AT GATEWAY |
June 27th, 2011 --
The CASCOR Super Car Series headed up north for the running of the Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 125 at Gateway International Speedway Monday evening. Pete Engelmanas came into the event with a comfortable but catchable 65 point lead over second place in points Matt Trace, would that lead grow or decrease after Gateway?
Mike Husby started the night off right with his third SuperCar series pole of 2011 with a time of 33.417. Himself and Pete Engelmanas, who ran a time of 33.506, would lead the field to the green.
The night got off to a rocky start as numerous yellow flags would fly, causing drivers to toss out pit strategy and start getting track position by not stopping. By the time lap 75 had rolled around, Engelmanas asserted himself as the one to beat, clinching the most laps led bonus.
However, as drivers would make one last stop, some would roll the dice and cause a mix-up in positions. Mike Husby was able to hold off a charging Austin Grams and Pete Engelmanas to pick up his second win of his career and of 2011. Grams 2nd, 2011 current points leader Pete Engelmanas 3rd, Madore 4th and Andrew Hayes 5th, picking up his second top 5 on the year.
The series has next week off in celebration of Independence Day but will pick it up at Kentucky on July 11th. Be there!

HUSBY RETURNS TO VICTORY LANE |
June 26th, 2011 --
The CASCOR Canadian Tire Series made their way back to London, Ontario for the Keystone Light 125 at Delaware Speedway.
Mike Husby would once again win the pole, his 2nd of the season and started alongside Tyler Ellery, bringing the field down to the green flag.
The first 20 laps would go caution free before Johnny Williams spun out in turn three. Yellow flags would fly four more times in the first half of the race, but after the restart on lap 59 the race would go green all the way to the end.
Tyler Ellery would take the lead from Pete Engelmanas a few laps after the lap 59 restart and held onto the lead until lap 86, when Mike Husby would take over the top spot.
Husby would hold onto the lead for the final 34 laps to take his first win in the series since Peterborough of 2009. Julian Madore would battle an ill handling car for the most of the night to come home 2nd, Tyler Ellery 3rd, Thomas Mohl Jr. finished 4th and Andrew Hayes came back to round out the top 5.
Next week the Canadian Tire Series has a week of. In two weeks the series heads back to the hills of Mosport International Raceway for the Vortex Brake Pads 125. Will we see a new face in victory lane? Or can Mike Husby make it two in a row? Find out July 10th at 8pm est., you won’t want to miss it!

GRAMS USES FUEL STRATEGY TO WIN MICHIGAN |
June 20th, 2011 --
The halfway point of the 2011 SuperCar season called for the drivers to go north and head to the state of Michigan and the Michigan Speedway for the running of the CarFax 150. The first half of 2011 has seen many stories that have shocked drivers and fans alike. Austin Grams seems to be the hottest driver in the cup series, winning 4 races thus far, which were all consecutively. Engelmanas winning the Daytona 200, Mohl Jr. advancing from the Open and winning the All-Star race and Mike Husby picking up his first career victory at Pocono, the series has been far from dull.
Tyler Ellery would pick up his second pole of 2011 and Matt Trace who would start outside would pick up his best effort and first front row start of 2011. Would Ellery and Trace be able to stay up front and claim a win?
Tyler Ellery would lead the opening 9 laps of the evening until being passed by Thomas Mohl Jr., Mohl would lead 10 laps until the first caution flew. As cars would hit pit road on lap 20, it would seem as most were going for fuel and tire strategy and wanted to see if they could press their luck. Mike Husby would take over the lead after pit stops and dominate the next 25 straight laps, clinching the most laps led bonus on the night.
By the time lap 60 rolled around, it seemed like some drivers were going to attempt to go the distance as many stretched their second to final run to try and make the full 80 laps on 4 stops. Austin Grams, Mike Husby, Thomas Mohl Jr., Matt Leach and Will Goshen were those who tried. All of those had failed at this except for one, Austin Grams was able to stretch the gas and make those Chevy engines work to pick up his 5th win of 2011, barely making the full 80 lap scheduled distance! Mike Husby 2nd, Matt Leach 3rd, Trace would come in 4th and Tyler Ellery would round out the top 5.
The series stays up in the Northern part of the United States as they head to Gateway International for the running of the Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 125 on June 27th! Don't miss it!!

June 12th, 2011 --
The CASCOR Canadian Tire Series returned to action Sunday night at the Autodrome St. Eustache for the Lucas Oil 150.
Mike Husby and teammate Jordan Robson made up the front row and led the field down to the green flag. The caution would come out instantly in turn 1 when Brandon Ward and Auz Grams got together.
Two cautions slowed the first few laps of the race, but the race would then go green for the next 90+ laps with a green flag pit stop in the middle of it all.
Mike Husby would lead the first 77 laps before handing the lead over to Jordan Robson, who would go on to lead the rest of the race to claim his 2nd consecutive win of the season. Andrew Hayes finishes 2nd, Auz Grams 3rd, Mike Husby fell to 4th and Julian Madore rounded out the top 5.
Next week the Canadian Tire Series will return to Delaware Speedway for the 3rd time in series history. Can Jordan Robson continue his dominance? Or will someone else take home a victory? Find out next week in the Delaware 125.

HAYES GETS COWBOY HAT IN LONESTAR STATE |
June 14th, 2011 --
Coming into Texas, Mike Husby had led the points since Phoenix and hadn't looked back. Would he walk out with a bigger lead then the one he came in with? Texas Motor Speedway and its fast speeds would determine that.
Jordan Robson would pick up the pole with a time of 30.884 with Andrew Hayes starting outside the front row with a 30.911. They would lead the field to the green with racing getting heated quickly. While leading on lap 10, Jordan Robson had techincal difficulties with his truck making contact with the outside wall, collecting Thomas Mohl Jr., Julian Madore and Ben Althen in the process. Althen would have to park due to major damage on his F-150. Robson, Mohl and Madore would all be able to continue without much major problems.
With only 35 laps remaining, Matt Leach would slide up and make contact with Jordan Robson sending the two in a spin down the back stretch allowing Thomas Mohl Jr. to take over the lead for the next restart. With 28 laps to go and Mohl leading the field to the green, Mike Husby would experience major issues causing everyone to lose time on the top two of Mohl Jr. and Andrew Hayes.. Mohl Jr. who had suffered damage from the earlier accident with Robson, was unable to hold off Hayes as he would pass quick and lead the final 27 laps on the way to his first career truck series win! Thomas Mohl Jr. would keep 2nd, Matt Leach 3rd, Robson 4th while Josh Boyer rounded out the top 5. The series has the next month off as they would come back on July 12th in Kentucky. Will Husby get it back together and be able to continue his dominant streak for the 2011 Championship, or will Sweet or Mohl Jr. be able to pounce on the opportunity to win the 2011 THL Truck Series Championship? The hunt for the title continues in Kentucky, July 12th!

HUSBY GETS FIRST CAREER SUPERCAR WIN |
June 13th, 2011 --
The CASCOR SuperCar Series had the past two weeks off and headed out to the mountains of Pennsylvania for the Pocono 100. Points leader Pete Engelmanas had come into the race with a very solid run towards the cup in progress with no finish worse than 6th the whole season prior to taking the Tricky Triangle, would his streak be in tact after the race was said and done?
Tyler Tucker earned the pole with a time of 52.943, earning his first of 2011, outside of him would be rookie to the series but veteran to racing Matt Leach with a very close time of 52.960. The two would lead the field to the green and kick off the Pocono 100. Mike Husby would make his dominance known early as he would take the lead from Tucker on lap 9 and not look back until the first caution flew when pit stops followed. Thomas Mohl Jr. would take over the lead and keep it for the next 4 laps until Husby got by once again and took over the lead to not look back. With only 10 laps to go, the yellow flag came out which would create a very exciting finish for the fans in attendance. Coming out of the tunnel turn, Pete Engelmanas would get loose off and go down low. Tyler Tucker and Engelmanas would make contact causing mass chaos down the straightaway. Thomas Mohl Jr. would end up upside down and would roll down the backstretch as Auz Grams would make hard contact with him and Engelmanas. Mohl Jr. who was very frustrated with the incident would rely on a tow truck to take his mangled car back to the garage area, ending his night.
The caution would remain out ending the race under yellow as Mike Husby would pick up his first career CASCOR SuperCar victory! Matt Trace would pick up 2nd, Matt Leach 3rd, Josh Tew would slip by for 4th and Engelmanas would round out the top 5. The SuperCars head to the 2.0 mile Michigan Motor Speedway for the CarFax 150. Will someone new break in and pick up their first career win there as well? Find out on June 20th!

GRAMS GOES BACK-TO-BACK IN KANSAS |
June 7th, 2011 --
Austin Grams had won his first career truck series race the previous race in Charlotte Motor Speedway rolling into Kansas Speedway for the Copart 100. Would he be able to go back to back in the midwest? We'd find out shortly as the Trucks would go racing in the plains!
Pete Engelmanas would earn his second pole of 2011 with a time of 33.084 starting inside of Jordan Robson who would start outside in 2nd with a time of 33.167. Engelmanas and Robson would lead the field to the green and get the afternoon started off right by going side by side for tons of laps in the opening run. The field would scatter out as the trucks would open the race with a 35+ lap green flag run. During the run, Engelmanas and Robson started to race each other more aggressively as time went on and Robson wouldn't have much more of it. Going into turn 3, Robson would turn up into Engelmanas causing both to make severely hard impact with the outside wall. Engelmanas would flip to the inside of the track as Robson would hit him once more, causing CASCOR officials to eject him from the property of the track. Sending him home early as Engelmanas was unable to continue anymore and had to park his #4 truck for the night.
Mike Husby would benefit from all this as he would take over the lead and hold that until the last caution of the night flew with less than 20 to go. Thomas Mohl Jr. decided to toss the dice and only take two tires on the last stop and would take over the lead. He would hold it for the next 5 laps until Austin Grams would get by him and begin to pull away. The caution flew with only 3 laps to go, ending the race under caution and giving Austin Grams his second consecutive win of 2011, Mike Husby 2nd, Ben Althen with a solid run in 3rd, Brent Sweet 4th and Josh Tew rounded out the top 5. The trucks would head out to the very fast, very exciting Texas Motor Speedway for the WinStar World Casino 100 on June 14th!

ROBSON DOMINATES AT CAYUGA |
June 6th, 2011 --
The CASCOR Canadian Tire Series would return to racing action at Cayuga Speedway for the first race of the 2011 season on Sunday night.
Jordan Robson led the field to the green flag with a blistering lap of 21.076 seconds with Mike Husby starting alongside. Fifteen cars took the green flag to start the 2011 season as Jordan Robson jumped out to the early lead.
The caution would come out 5 times during the event, but no one would be able to find their way around Jordan Robson as he led every one of the 130 laps in the event. Julian Madore finishes 2nd after getting around Mike Husby who finished 3rd, Thomas Mohl Jr. came home 4th and Pete Engelmanas rounded out the top 5.
With that the 2011 Canadian Tire Series season is underway, and looks promising for another great championship battle. Next week the Canadian Tire Series heads to Autodrome St. Eustache for the 3rd time in series history, for the running of the Lucas Oil 150.

GRAM HOLDS HIS OWN IN CHARLOTTE |
May 24th, 2011 --
The THL Truck Series headed out to the 'Beast of The Southeast' on Tuesday, meeting up with the Cup Series as they concluded their week of activites at the famed 1.5 Charlotte Motor Speedway. Points leader coming into the race, Mike Husby was on a hot streak, riding 5 straight top 3 finishes. Would he be able to keep that strong championship hopeful run up after the North Education Lottery 100?
Mike Husby started the night off strong earning his second pole of 2011 with a very fast time of 30.536, outside of him would be Josh Boyer earning his second front row start of 2011 as they would lead the field to the green! It wouldn't take long for Austin Grams to let everyone know he would be one of the cars to beat as he jumped out to the early lead. With only 7 laps into the race, officials called for a delay as rain would hit the track. They would then discuss and feel the track was good enough to go back green. Thomas Mohl Jr. would take the lead after the green as Jordan Robson, Austin Grams and himself dominated as they would jump out to a 4 second lead over the remainder of the pack.
With only 20 laps to go, Mohl Jr. began to apply to pressure to Grams to try and force him to make an error, Austin wouldn't crack under pressure as Mohl Jr. would fall back one spot to Jordan Robson who was also unable to get by Grams as Austin would go on to win the North Education Lottery 100 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Jordan Robson would take 2nd position, Mohl Jr. 3rd, Brent Sweet 4th and Julian Madore would round out the top 5. The THL Truck Series will pack it up and head to the midwest for the Copart 100 @ Kansas Speedway on June 7th!

STICKLEY DOMINATES IN CHARLOTTE |
May 23rd, 2011 --
The CASCOR SuperCar series remained in Charlotte after an exciting All-Star race to run the annual Quaker Steak & Lube 150. Would Auz Grams continue his domination of 4 straight point paying races to make it 5?
Grams started out strong as he earned his first pole of 2011 with a very fast time of 29.460 over outside pole sitter Pete Engelmanas who clocked in with a 29.507. Grams would not lead for long however as he and Pete took the field to the green flag as Jordan Robson quickly made his power and presence felt as he led the first 20 laps of the evening. The first caution flew when Matt Trace made hard contact with the inside wall coming off of turn 2, ending his night early. Under caution Robson would pull onto pit road but would not come back off as he suffered electronic difficulties and would have to park for the remainder of the night. Who would step up to the plate?
Frankie Stickley would take the lead coming off of pit road and not look back, as the remaining laps went caution free with everyone staying a healthy distance away from one another. Stickley would lead the final 68 laps on his way to his 13th career CASCOR SuperCar victory! Pete Engelmanas would come in 2nd, Thomas Mohl Jr. would take 3rd, Brent Sweet 4th and Madore would round out the top 5. The series has the next two weeks off and while heading to the Pocono Raceway for the Pocono 100 on June 13th, so don't miss it!

May 17th, 2011 --
The trend going into Tuesday's Dover High Line Truck series race was new. There hadn't been a repeat winner heading into the race, that was, yet.
Jordan Robson earned the pole with a fast time of 23.019, his first of the year. Outside him would be Mike Husby with a time of 23.036. During practice, many drivers were expecting exactly what happened.. Close times. After practice was said and done, 14 drivers were separated by just a little over 2 tenths, by far the closest of any practice session thus far this season. Qualifying would be no different as the top 10 were once again separated by just a little over a tenth. Would that result in close racing?
The race would feature a very rocky start with no run being established by the 50 lap point that went over 10 laps, cautions breed cautions and we saw that perfectly clear Tuesday night. Once everyone got settled in the drivers went on a 23 lap green flag run which showed who was going to be the class of the field. Frankie Stickley, Jordan Robson, Auz Grams and Mike Husby seemed to be the ones to beat throughout the night.
After no green flag pit stops, the field would set up for what would hopefully be the final restart of the night with just over 20 laps to go. Frankie Stickley would lead them to the green as Jordan Robson would follow, Stickley conserved his tires well enough to pull away and establish a little bit of a lead, with just two laps to go, it seemed Auz Grams was going to challenge him for the win when the caution flag flew, giving Frankie his second straight win and second total of 2011. Auz Grams 2nd, Mike Husby 3rd, Jordan Robson would come in at 4th and Brent Sweet would round out the top 5.
The series heads to Charlotte Motor Speedway next week to meet up with the cup guys as they run the North Carolina Education Lottery 100 on May 24th. Will Frankie continue his winning ways or will we see another winner?

RAIN PUSHES DOVER BACK A WEEK |
May 16th, 2011 --
The time had come, the time had come for the gloves to be put on, the mouths to be shut and the engines to start. It was time for the 2011 CASCOR All-Star Open & Challenge. It was time to put up or shut up, go big or go home. Any other phrase you can use to describe that everyone was going to try and win this one race, no matter what.
The night started off with the All-Star Open, which included 8 drivers racing for 3 spots to race their way into the Challenge and secure themselves a spot for the big one. Qualifying took place for this event as Mike Husby took the pole with a time of 29.771 outside of him would be Thomas Mohl Jr. The two would lead the field to the green and get the night kicked off! Action picked up quickly as Husby would start to inch away as Madore and Mohl Jr. would battle for the second position, little did they notice they were 5 seconds ahead of 4th place Andrew Hayes by lap 15. The competition yellow was thrown and everyone would hit pit road for fuel and tires. Under caution, Andrew Hayes would hit the back of Mohl Jr. hurting his chances at winning and eventually ending his night early as he would lose the engine.
The final restart of the open would see the top 3 once again pull away and not look back as Mike Husby would win the open, Julian Madore would beat Mohl back to the line for 2nd as Mohl Jr. would pick up the final transfer spot in the 3rd spot. Would the extra practice laps help the drivers come Challenge time??
The All-Star Challenge would feature lotto qualifying, nobody having any control over where or who they'd start by. Matt Trace would draw spot #1 and Will Goshen would pick up the second spot as they would be the ones chosen to lead the field to the green flag. The race would feature 70 laps. The first segment would consist of 30 laps with a mandatory pit stop from laps 15-20. Segment #2 would be 20 laps with no pit stop required as the final segment would be 10 laps. The other 10 laps would be pace laps in between segements.
The race got heated quickly as most rubber left behind from the Open would toss the drivers off balance and set up a loose start. The first caution would fly as transfer driver Mohl Jr. would get into his co-car owner Pete Engelmanas and send him into the turn 4 wall. The damage wouldn't be enough to end Pete's night and he would continue without any further issues.
As pit stops neared, drivers started deciding on who they would pit with and who they'd try to avoid. Pit stops got to the halfway point as Will Goshen would spin going into turn 3, sending him into the outside wall, ending his night on lap 17. Some drivers who were opting to try and stay out until the final lap allowed of mandatory stops on lap 20 would bite the bullet and pit the following restart, allowing the drivers who DID pit to lap them. Mike Husby would lead the final 10 laps of segment one, thankfully for the drivers who stayed out, the rules called for all drivers to be on the lead lap after segment one going into segment two. Which put 8 drivers in total back on the lead lap.
Segment 2 would kick off and go without many issues as Pete Engelmanas would lead most of the 20 laps. At the end of the segment, the drivers would have to pit for fuel and many picked up all four tires. Matt Trace however, was the only one who opted to take two and lead the field to the green for the final 10 laps. Would it be a good choice?
Matt Trace led the field to the green but on the restart would spin his tires and go head on into the outside wall taking Mike Husby for a bobble as well, Husby would control it and keep going but Trace would end up lining up last on the lead lap. Thomas Mohl Jr. would benefit from their misfortunes as he would lead the field to the green with 8 laps to go over Julian Madore. Mohl Jr. would take the lead and begin to build a bit of a lead as officials began to count down the laps. With 5 to go, Mike Husby caught Mohl and challenged him for the lead, the two would go back and forth each corner but every lap in the final segment would be led by Mohl.
Coming into turn 3 on the final lap, Mohl Jr. would go high as Husby would go low, coming off turn 4 though, Thomas would pick up the momentum and beat Husby off the corner. Mohl Jr. would win the 2011 CASCOR All-Star Challenge! Mike Husby 2nd, Julian Madore 3rd, 4th went to Pete Engelmanas and Brent Sweet would wrap up the top 5.
The SuperCar series will stay in Charlotte when next week they take the track for the Quaker Stake & Lube 150! Will Auz Grams continue his streak of 4 straight point races won? Find out on next Monday, May 23rd!

RAIN PUSHES DOVER BACK A WEEK |

GRAMS GETS FOUR IN A ROW AT TOLEDO |
May 10th, 2011 --
Heading into Toledo on Monday night, the supercar series seemed to be going through a story that was stuck on repeat. Auz Grams heading into Toledo had won three of the last races at Martinsville, Texas and Talladega. Would he continue his amazing streak after Toledo was said and done?
Mike Husby would earn the pole with a time of 16.063, leading the field to the green for the second time in 2011 thus far. Outside of him would be Kenny Holten with a time of 16.177. The race would get off to a good, fast start as most drivers would be getting used to the setup which seemed to change over each green flag run. The first caution would fly as the 68 of Holten would spin, nobody would make contact with him and he would continue on.
The leaders would hit pit road during the first yellow, with almost everyone taking fresh tires. Bertus De Jong in the 77 would be the only one that opted to stay out and would lead the field to the restart. The choice to stay out quickly backlashed on him as he would drop 5 spots within 5 laps, leaving current points leader Pete Engelmanas with the lead.
The race would continue on until an accident occured on lap 62 involving Tyler Ellery who seemed to be one of the fast cars of the night, ending his night early. On the next restart, Josh Tew and Thomas Mohl Jr. would get together, bringing out another quick caution. Under the yellow, Tew would make accidental contact with Sweet, ending his night early as well.
With many cars out of the race, it seemed as if everyone was guaranteed a top 10. During the next restart, the current points leader Pete Engelmanas would blow an engine, bringing out what would be the final caution of the night. As everyone else pitted, Thomas Mohl Jr. opted to stay out, hoping to take advantage of the track position that was offered. The move seemed good for the first 20 laps after the final restart until Auz Grams would get by him and cruise away. After much heat from Husby, Auz would pull a tad bit away and lead the final 32 laps on the way to his unprecedented FOURTH consecutive win in the SuperCar series, Mike Husby would finish a close 2nd, Mohl Jr. 3rd, Matt Trace 4th and Pete Engelmanas would round out the top 5.
The series next week heads to Charlotte where all bets are off and everyone goes big or goes home at the 2011 CASCOR All-Star race and All-Star Open. Would this years "all-star" Auz Grams win there as well? Or will someone else step up and pick up the W. Find out next week at Charlotte Motor Speedway!

April 27th, 2011 --
Heading into the Federated Auto Parts 100 at Nashville, there had been 4 different winners in 4 races so far in the "High Line" Truck Series. Would the trend continue after the race? Or would we see our first multi-race winner?
Brandon Ward won his first pole of 2011 with a blistering fast time of 31.217, over one tenth faster the outside pole sitter Mike Husby. The two would lead the field to the green flag and what would seem to be a caution free race. The race would open up with a 40+ lap green flag run with the top four of Ward, Husby, Stickley and Madore breaking away and establishing a hefty sized lead over the remainder of the pack, the run would also feature a round of green flag pit stops.
The first caution would fly as a the #13 of Washington would spin and was not able to re-fire his truck quickly enough. This would lead to all trucks hitting pit road for fresh tires and a full tank of gas. Coming into to what seemed like the final run with just over 30 laps remaining, Frankie Stickley took the lead and started to break away along with the top 5.
The caution would fly once more with just over 5 laps to go as Josh Boyer and Will Goshen would get together as both made accidental contact with one another. This would set-up a WILD one lap shootout which saw the #51 of Frankie Stickley pull away and win the Federated Auto Parts 100, becoming the 5th different winner in 5 races. Mike Husby would nearly win and finish 2nd, Brent Sweet 3rd, Julian Madore 4th and Matt Trace, 5th.
The series has next week off but will resume action at the Dover International Speedway for the O'Reilly Auto Parts 125. Will the series see its 6th race winner in 6 races in 2011? Find out on May 10th!

April 18th, 2011 --
The CASCOR SuperCar series rolled back into action following their short track trip to Martinsville, this time back to the familiar Talladega SuperSpeedway.
Julian Madore would earn his first career SuperCar pole as he and Brent Sweet would lead the field to the green flag. The race would feature lots of green flag pack racing that made Talladega famous. Everyone would stay in contention late in the race as only one car would not finish, with 14 cars on the lead lap.
Coming into Turn 3 with only two laps remaining, Auz Grams would lead the outside line towards the front with tons of help attempting to get past the lower line. As they would get even with the lower line, Matt Trace would slide up and causing Thomas Mohl Jr. to get into him and send him spinning, as the field would race back to the line Auz Grams was able to hold them off and pick up his 3rd consecutive SuperCar victory! Julian Madore would lead the most laps on his way to 2nd, Chris Swett 3rd, Pete Engelmanas 4th and Mohl Jr. would round out the top 5.
The SuperCar series will have the next two weeks off, they'll then pack it up and head to Toledo for the Menard's 150!
